Their interrogation revealed links to multiple girls’ hostels in Patna. As reporters followed these leads, a woman named Misty, a hostel warden in Patna with connections in Jharkhand, emerged as a significant link. Undercover reporters, posing as agents, approached spa operators, intermediaries, and eventually the main supplier. As trust built over multiple meetings, Misty disclosed that she had access to girls from several states and that a larger network operated from Dhanbad. The investigation then reached a senior political figure from Jharkhand, who was recorded discussing arrangements, contacts, and her reach across states.
